Affiliate links and how Tallybuy earns
Tallybuy is free for you. It earns a commission from some merchants if you follow a link from Tallybuy and then buy. This page is that disclosure.
How we earn
We are a publisher in the Awin affiliate network. For merchants whose programmes we are accepted into, a tracked link lets the network see that you came from Tallybuy. If you then complete a qualifying purchase, the merchant pays the network and the network pays Tallybuy a commission. The price you pay is the same with or without the tracked link.
For every visitor, with one exception
Links to merchants are affiliate links for every visitor, and nobody is asked to consent to that. There is one exception: if you refused tracked links earlier, when we still asked, your links go straight to the merchant's own address until that answer expires. Every offer stays visible whatever happens. A note beside the offers on product and store pages says that the links are affiliate links.
Commission does not decide the order
Offers are ordered by the delivered total, lowest first, where that is known. Commission is not an input to the order. A merchant cannot pay to be placed higher. Offers with an unknown part of the total are marked and follow complete ones.
How you can tell
A tracked link is marked Sponsored beside the link, a note beside the offers says that merchant links are affiliate links, and the link's address is declared as sponsored to search engines.
What this means for coverage
Commission and the permissions of each source decide which merchants we can show. The coverage page states which markets and sources are live, so a missing merchant is not a judgement about it.
