This PCIe interface card adds two USB 3.2 Gen.1 ports to desktop systems and provides fast connections for external drives, card readers, or printers. Via the connected SATA power connector it provides up to 900 mA per port. The card uses a PCI-Express x1 slot Rev. 2.0, is backward compatible with Rev. 1.0a, and works with USB 2.0 devices. The solution proves itself in retrofits within existing infrastructures, in on-site deployments and in service operations. In professional IT environments as well as in companies and public institutions, the plug-and-play integration reduces effort and provides immediately usable USB ports.
