The InLine® USB to RS-232 adapter cable enables serial devices to be connected to systems with a USB port. This means that existing RS-232 components can continue to be used, even though modern computers and laptops no longer feature a serial interface. The solution is suitable for connecting modems, ISDN systems, console ports and other devices with an RS-232 interface. Thanks to the direct conversion from USB to RS-232, communication is reliable and requires no additional interface cards or complex system modifications. The integrated ferrite core helps to reduce high-frequency interference and ensures stable data transmission. This is particularly advantageous for configuration, service and maintenance tasks where a reliable connection is essential. Thanks to the Prolific PL2303GT chipset and support for numerous operating systems, the adapter cable can be flexibly integrated into existing environments. The compact design, with a cable length of approx. 0.2 m, is also suitable for mobile use and saves space at the workstation.
