Your choice about analytics

Tallybuy asks before it measures how the site is used. Declining changes nothing about the offers, their order or their prices.

  • Analytics with Google Analytics. Counts visits and page views so Tallybuy can see what is used. If you allow it, Google Ireland Limited sets cookies on your device and receives your usage data, which can be processed in the USA. If you decline, nothing is sent to Google. With your consent Tallybuy also counts for itself how often a product page is opened and a shop link is followed: plain totals per product, without cookies and without anything that identifies you.

About this product

ICY BOX IB-2217ASTS, 8.89 cm (3.5"), Storage drive tray, Black, 2.5", SATA, SATA II, SATA III, Aluminium, Plastic, Stainless steel

Read the full source description

The small brother The IB-2217aStS offers place for one 2.5" SATA SSD or HDD and it is built into one 3.5" bay in the PC. The SSD/HDD are installed without a tray and therefore also without the use of any tool.

Safe as well Even though the IB-2217aStS offers place for only one HDD, it still is safe. A lock is available to keep unauthorized persons away, while internally, the HDD is connected with a SATA connector and the LED is connected seperately with a 4-pin connector.

Cool and stable The frame is made out of metal while the front panel is made out of high quality aluminium. Metals are known for their excellent heat conduction (passive convection). This provides a lower temperature without a need of a fan.
