The adapter cable enables you to operate additional case fans via a single motherboard header, without rewiring or additional hardware. This allows you to increase airflow when needed and consolidate the power supply of multiple fans on an existing header. Please ensure that the summed currents and power of all connected fans do not exceed the permissible limits of the motherboard. Particularly helpful for upgrades, service deployments and on-site setups when additional case fans need to be integrated into existing systems. It proves itself in professional IT environments and during ongoing operations in companies and public institutions when only a few fan headers are available.
