The USB-to-serial adapter converts a USB port into an RS-232 interface and connects end devices such as modems, ISDN systems, or a PDA to PCs and notebooks. In professional IT environments, in on-site installations, and in service deployments, the short adapter cable connects existing serial devices with modern computers.
