This Mini-PCIe 2.0 card adds two internal SATA 6 Gb/s ports to compact systems and allows connection of hard drives and SSDs of SATA generations III, II and I. The integrated RAID function aggregates performance (RAID 0), mirrors data (RAID 1) or combines drives (SPAN), so that storage can be adapted flexibly. It proves itself in professional IT environments, in on-site installations and in service deployments, especially when existing infrastructures in companies and public institutions have a free Mini-PCI Express slot and are to be expanded with additional storage ports or simple RAID functions.
