This PCIe interface card adds a parallel 25-pin interface to desktop or workstation systems. The port is IEEE 1284-compatible and supports SPP, PS2, EPP and ECP, so existing parallel devices remain connected. With its single-lane (x1) architecture per Revision 1.1 and up to 2.5 Gb/s, the card integrates into modern systems. In professional IT environments, for on-site installations and in service deployments, the card facilitates continued operation of existing infrastructures on current computers without a native parallel port. Support for common operating systems from Windows 2000 to Windows 10 as well as Linux, Mac OS X 10.5 and DOS 6.22 simplifies integration in companies and public institutions.
