The internal adapter connects a USB 2.0 motherboard header to a USB 3.2 Type-E Key-A socket and enables use of a front port with USB 2.0 functionality. It reliably delivers the typical 480 Mb/s of USB 2.0 for compatible devices and service tools. Particularly practical for system build and maintenance in professional IT environments as well as for on-site deployments when existing cases with Type-E cutout are to be reused. This keeps the infrastructure tidy and access to internal USB interfaces is easy even during operation.
